JAY STREAM MIDDLE SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST - 2012-2013

This is a general supply list which is sufficient for the beginning of the school year. Your child's teacher may request additional supplies once the school year begins.

Please have all items labeled with your child's name.

General Supplies - Grade 6

1 Scientific calculator. Suggested models: Any Texas Instrument (TI)(Texas Instrument) with the model number 30 in it. ($10-$15)	10 ball point pens blue or black
5 Different colored double pocket folders or an expandable file folder	20 #2 pencils with erasers - Sharpened at Home
5 separate spiral notebooks (70-80 sheets)	5 package of red checking pens (8 - 10 pens)
1 package of wide lined notebook paper	3 Highlighters
	1 package of 4 x 6 ruled note cards (white)
1 ruler (inches, and centimeters) 12" in length	1 package of 3 x 3 post-it notes
1 pair pointed FISKAR scissors	2 glue sticks
1 1 ½ " 3 ring binder (or larger)	1 zippered pencil case
1 package of broad tip colored markers	2 Soft erasers
1 Sharpie marker - black	1 clear tape
2 Expo black, broad tip, dry erase markers: Low-Odor	1 inexpensive flash drive
1 package of sharpened colored pencils	1 pair of gym shoes (non-marking soles)

*Trapper Keepers and large 3-ring notebooks are optional.

**It is also necessary for students to have a dictionary at home.
