Heritage Lakes School 2009-2010 School Improvement Plan

The Heritage Lakes School Building Leadership Team (BLT) and staff have determined to target the following areas during the 2009-2010 school year.

• Focus staff development efforts on the use and interpretation of the NWEA scores and other reading assessment data.

• Design and implement a reading intervention program that meets the needs of special populations not meeting grade level expectations as identified by NWEA and ISEL.

• Provide time for teachers to collaborate around the alignment of reading instruction and assessment.
