Greetings From the Art Room! My name is Colleen McGrath and I am so excited to be teaching art classes here at Carol Stream School. I meet with each class 1 time within a 4 day rotation for 55 minutes at a time. In art class, we will be exploring many different art forms such as drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking, fiber arts, and much more. We will also be learning a lot about history, the elements & principals of art, and many other famous artists and their techniques. Art is an essential part of primary education and I want art class to be an enjoyable, yet also informative educational experience for each student. Throughout the year, I will be hanging the children's wonderful artwork in the school's hallways. Come in and check out the artwork whenever you get a chance!
